We would will learn a lot more about the murders if we tried to figure out why they just stopped after Mary Kelly's murder. There are many clues that do not seem to have gained a great deal of coverage over the years, like Mary Kelly's fireplace. Apparently something was burned with such ferocity that it melted part of a kettle near by! What was it? Also, how did the murdered gain access to the room? Kelly's key had been lost I seem to recall, but was found some time after. What had happened?
One thing that I recall reading ages ago, and it didn't strike me until I read your page was the murder of Mary Kelly. What if it were not Kelly that was murdered after all? The body was in such a slaughtered state that it was difficult to identify (I think her eyes and ears were used by Joseph Barnett (??), her ex-man friend for identification). Two witnesses saw Kelly hours after she was supposed to have died. Now, either the witnesses were mistaken or someone else was killed.......

I doubt if there is a cover-up taking place by the Royal family and/or the
Police, but this doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't anything new to
learn. In 1988, on the 100th anniversary, Scotland Yard's Black Museum
received old records that had been lost or mislaid. These included
morgue photos of the first three victims (note these pictures only became
available after 1988) and the 'Dear Boss' letter.
Also, at about the time that 'The Diary of Jack the Ripper' was being writen, more information (purportedly) came to light, including Mary Kelly's death certificate, which showed that her heart was missing. I say purportedly because the only source of this is 'The Diary of...', which has not shown itself to be a very reliable document!
